Classroom Door Safety Lock - Model 1- By SaveOurStudents Door Security, LLC Triangular shaped all Aluminum channel metal with 7 welds means no rust and it will last for yearsA new improved model 1.1 is introduced as an improved model for extra strength for you. Three colors: PINK, ASH, BLACK The SOS lock can easily slide onto the door closing-mechanism in seconds The SOS lock can slide off in seconds if evacuation is required The SOS can be used upside down or right side up with equal performance The SOS device can be used on right hinged or left hinged doors The compact size and weight hangs easily near the door Model 1 is designed for student classroom doors Model 2 is for hallway and entrance doors as they use larger vectored joints US patent and manufactured in Ocala, Florida by a Retired Teacher and Veteran. Product description The SaveOurStudents Door Security is a temporary locking device to be installed over the door closing-mechanism on most school classroom doors. It can slide over the vectored legs of the door closing-mechanism in seconds and be removed in seconds when a Code Red or A.L.I.C.E is announced. It provides a powerful passive barrier between a school shooter and the students and staff in a classroom. The SOS lock is effective in preventing the door from opening if the classroom door is not locked or if the classroom door lock is shot out by the intruder. No need to go outside of the classroom door to lock it. No need to spend time in front of a dangerous door. Normally law enforcement is on campus within 10 minutes but that 10 minutes is extremely critical for everyone’s safety in the classroom. Also, some school shooters have pulled the fire alarm prior to a shooting spree so verify with school administrators how to deal with that possibility; perhaps any non-announced fire drills, they could make an intercom call announcing "SECURE YOUR DOORS". Warranty - The product is warrantied against manufacturing defects and all welds.
